Believe it or not, Xbox has more exclusives on the way than PlayStation. The bad news is that the majority of them are still in the early stages of development. Even so, the future is bright for Xbox Series S/X owners.

If you recall, Microsoft held a huge showcase of Xbox and Bethesda games last month. The company has revealed a massive slate of games that will all be coming to the Xbox Series S/X over the next 12 months. Ultimately, we’re not surprised that Microsoft is sitting on a long list of secret projects. Remember that Microsoft has just acquired Activision Blizzard. Once the $70 billion acquisition closes next year, Microsoft will have access to more IP addresses than it knows what to do with.
It wouldn’t take much for Microsoft to put its conglomerate of studios to work, even a fraction of the properties it now owns in addition to the new ones. If that happens, Xbox will be sitting on exclusives for the next decade. Of course, quantity is not necessarily synonymous with quality. The verdict is still out on whether Microsoft can give Sony a solid run for its money when it comes to console sales exclusives.
