Xbox’s console-shaped mini fridge went on sale in Australia on Tuesday, but as quickly as it arrived, it disappeared.
Pre-orders for the product were announced this afternoon. But if you’re hoping to get your hands on it, you might be out of luck.
The $220 Xbox-shaped mini fridge is apparently sold out, as is the Xbox Series X console itself.
It’s been a year and a half since the Xbox Series X (and S) was released, and the game console is still hard to grasp.
The fridge can hold about 12 cans of drinks on two shelves. In addition to looking like the Series X console, the interior is lined with Xbox’s famous green color.
It’s hard to believe this is a real thing, announced in June last year, the gaming community was blown away and excited when Xbox unveiled its new hardware.
EB Games took to social media to announce that the fridge was available for pre-order, but an hour later they were gone.
Around 4:30 p.m. today, the JB Hi-Fi pre-order webpage also went offline.
Much like the console itself, we’ll no doubt see scalpers selling them at triple the value in August.
