Oddworld Soulstorm developers lock in long-awaited Xbox console release date


The latest version of the Oddworld series is heading to Xbox as the developers have confirmed that a new Oddworld Soulstorm port is in the works.

More than 20 years after its release, Abe’s Exodus was reinvented in 2021 Soulstorm. After a few more months of waiting, players on the Xbox camp will soon be able to get their hands on the latest Oddworld title.

Soulstorm originally launched on April 6, 2021 on PC, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. It has established itself as one of our favorite games of the year so far, turning out to be much more than a simple remake.

Now the developers of Oddworld Inhabitants have confirmed that more players will be able to experience the new title, with Soulstorm being locked down for an Xbox port.

Oddworld Soulstorm will soon be playable on Xbox consoles.

The popular sthe side-scrolling title featured all difficult elements fans have grown to love over the years. From puzzle puzzles to action-packed sequences and of course, the many elusive bonus levels.

While all of this content was crammed into the initial version of Soulstorm, Xbox fans might be in store for all of this and more. Xbox Series X players | S and Xbox One hardware will have access to all the latest fixes, ensuring the best experience from day one.

With many of the more problematic launch bugs now a thing of the past, Xbox playback should be smoother than ever.

No release date is currently locked, although it should arrive at some point in 2021. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as Soulstorm moves to Xbox.

In addition, new content appears to be in the works for all platforms as well. It’s unclear what this new add-on may look like. While we already know Oddworld creator Lorne Lanning has big plans in store.

Of tv show to the next game in the series, there is something to thrill Oddworld fans.
