It seems that the head of Xbox Phil Spencer has revealed what an upcoming new Xbox console will look like. For some time, Phil Spencer has been using his shelf to tease upcoming games and announcements. These Easter eggs have left fans scanning Spencer’s shelf every time a new photo or video pops up, and it looks like one of the last items on the Head of Xbox shelf is actually an upcoming Xbox console. , or a prototype of it, at least.

Bethesda is currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of the To fall franchise, and since Microsoft owns Bethesda, Phil Spencer joined in the festivities. Spencer took to Twitter to celebrate To fall‘s birthday, posting an image of his shelf showing off various products, including a few Vault Boy figures. However, what really grabs everyone’s attention is a white box on top of his shelf, which is apparently a new Xbox console in the works.

According to Tom Warren of The edge, the small white console spotted on Phil Spencer’s shelf in a recent tweet is actually an Xbox console in development known as Keystone. This isn’t the first time information about the Xbox Keystone console has come to light. Microsoft has been rumored to be working on a streaming device that would let gamers access Xbox Game Pass titles without the need for a console, mobile device, or PC, and now fans can get there. a first look thanks to Spencer’s bookshelf.

As the image clearly shows, the Xbox Keystone console is going to be rather small. It looks a bit like a miniature Xbox Series S. However, it’s worth pointing out that this may not be what the final console design looks like. The official Xbox Twitter account called it an “old prototype”, so it looks like the final product will be a little different from the device spotted on Spencer’s shelf.

That being said, it wouldn’t be surprising if the final design of the Xbox Keystone console looked a lot like this. Ultimately, fans will have to wait for the official reveal to learn more about the console, including its final design, actual name, and most importantly, cost. Presumably, the Xbox Keystone is meant to be an inexpensive alternative to the Xbox Series X and S consoles, though fans will have to wait for more information.
