Indiana Jones is an Xbox console exclusive

In January, it was revealed that Swedish studio Machine Games (Wolfenstein: The New Order, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus) was working on a new game Indiana Jones.

Machine Games is owned by ZeniMax, which was not purchased by Microsoft at that time, and since Disney owns the franchise, many people thought Indiana Jones could be a cross-platform title despite Microsoft owning it. now ZeniMax and therefore also machine games. But if insider Shpeshal_Nick is to be believed, that won’t happen as he claims he has sources saying it’s a PC and Xbox exclusive title. Here’s what he said in the last XboxEra podcast episode:

“I’ve been told Indiana Jones will be a full Xbox exclusive. I know a lot of people have kind of assumed that based on the fact that this deal was probably done before the acquisition… it’s Indy , this is Disney, it’s probably going to be multiplat. But let’s be honest, does Disney have an issue with exclusivity? Look at Spider-Man, look at Wolverine. “

As you probably already imagined, the Xbox exclusive also includes the PC, as Shpeshal_Nick sums it up:

“As far as I know, Indy is locked up. That’s it, this only comes on Xbox and PC, the Xbox ecosystem.”

Indiana Jones is supposed to be at a very early stage, so don’t expect to see any signs of life (including official formats confirmation) for some time.
