Comparison of PS Plus November 2021 offers to Xbox games with gold

Sony and Microsoft unveiled free games for PS More and Xbox games with gold in November 2021 a few weeks ago. While the main feature of PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold will always be the online multiplayer functionality, gamers still value the overall value they get from their subscriptions, especially with the list of free titles.

While both services have seen their ups and downs throughout 2021, it seems PS Plus subscribers are mostly happy with the November 2021 free games list. However, Xbox Games players with Gold are split in two. .

PS Plus offers more games for November 2021

playstation releases over november

Throughout 2021, PS Plus gamers have been accustomed to getting three free games per month, consisting of one PS5 game and two PS4 titles. However, this month’s PS Plus announcement revealed that Sony is doubling that number for November, giving subscribers six free games in total.

The list of free PS Plus games for November consists of First class problem, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, Knockout City, The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, and Until you fall. On the flip side, Microsoft hasn’t announced any changes to the number of free Xbox games with Gold for November, but gamers will have access to Moving, Kingdom Two Crowns, Rocket Knight, and LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.

Xbox games with Gold still haven’t included a next-gen game

One of the most prominent player criticisms of Xbox games with Gold is the lack of Xbox Series X / S games offered through the service. Meanwhile, since the release of the PS5 last November, Sony has always included a title for the next-gen PlayStation console. It remains a mystery why Microsoft was unwilling to include a next-gen game on its roster like Sony is, but the company is likely reserving Xbox Series X / S games for Game Pass.

PS Plus is offering two PS5 games this month: First class problem, which was just released on PS4 and PS5 alongside its inclusion; and City KO. While not specifically designed for the PS5, City KO just received a next-gen update several days ago that includes a graphics overhaul.

Both services offer decent games for co-op fans

First class problem-1

One thing the PS Plus and Xbox games with Gold for November 2021 have in common is a great selection of co-op games. On the PS Plus side, Sony offers two cooperative multiplayer games for subscribers: the First class problem and City KO. First class problem is a social deduction game similar to Among us. On the other hand, City KO is a team-based multiplayer game that looks like an extreme version of the dodge ball.

Similar to PS More, Xbox games with gold offers several cooperative games in November. All his titles included except Rocket knight have some kind of cooperative multiplayer. In To relocate, players work together to transport furniture, boxes and more safely and efficiently on a cargo van. Kingdom Two Crowns allows players to work together to manage and rule a kingdom, allowing them to have two different mounts and collect more coins and gems. Recently, LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes has cooperative mechanisms as is the standard formula in most Lego Games. However, its two-player cooperative mode uses a split screen given the game’s open-world environment.
