CoD community splits as players reveal worst Call of Duty game ever

The upcoming Call of Duty Next event is set to offer a full Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer reveal as well as some new Warzone 2 information. Here’s what players are desperately looking forward to from the event.

During Call of Duty Champs, the biggest competitive CoD event of the year, Activision and Infinity Ward brought Call of Duty Next to the community’s attention. This one-of-a-kind event that will air on September 15 is expected to tease the future of the Call of Duty franchise.

The event will include a full multiplayer reveal of Modern Warfare 2, as well as new details regarding the Warzone 2 project and a mobile version of Warzone. With a ton of new information that should shock the community, here’s what players are most hoping to see.

CharlieIntel took to Twitter to ask CoD players what they hoped to see from the highly anticipated Call of Duty Next broadcast. While details regarding Warzone 2 are shrouded in mystery, it’s safe to expect gameplay footage from Modern Warfare 2.

Keep in mind that Modern Warfare 2 is set to release on October 28, and with all eyes on Call of Duty Next, it’ll be a great opportunity to build some excitement. Some players in the responses had very specific expectations, while others want to see more technical aspects of the game.

MW2 and Warzone 2 gun mechanism and gunsmith system

It’s a great example of the technical side of Modern Warfare 2, and by association expected Warzone 2, that we’ve yet to fully experience. Gun mechanics and how they feel when fired set the tone for the game. Modern Warfare 2 gameplay will likely be heavily influenced by the intuitive feel of guns in players’ hands.

In addition, the loadouts and the gunsmith function are another essential technical aspect. While these concerns aren’t the most important, they go a long way toward laying the foundation for a high-quality experience. After all, players love to customize and modify certain aspects of the game when not engaged in battle.

Although we already have important information about the Modern Warfare 2 Gunsmith, including the ability to change some attachment characteristics, we hope that Call of Duty Next will provide even more information.

Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Game

While the gameplay is expected to take center stage, it’s no wonder Call of Duty Next can feature various game modes. Perhaps the broadcast will mark the official reveal of the rumored DMZ mode.

However, multiplayer fans will have their fingers crossed for something they’ve been looking for for what seems like ages: “Launch league play.”

Call of Duty fans looking for a high-level competitive mode have been disappointed in recent years. Either they had to wait months after release to receive a ranked game mode, or in the case of Modern Warfare, it came without skill divisions or an ELO system.

Classic Call of Duty Weapons

FaZe Testy responding with an image of the iconic Intervention sniper gives us a specific weapon request. Certainly, the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer reveal will include gameplay footage. Of course, with gameplay footage comes the inevitable weapon reveal.

It remains to be seen if classic Call of Duty weapons will make it into Modern Warfare 2, but players are sure to lose their minds if intervention makes its way into the game. favorites in Call of Duty history.

That pretty much sums up some of the more intriguing hopes and wishes for the upcoming Call of Duty Next event. Be sure to tune in to the September 15 broadcast to find out if any of those wishes come true.
