Bing is apparently adding a direct “play” feature for Xbox games

Bing was used as the default search engine for Xbox’s built-in setup since 2014, similar to how Bing is built-in with other Microsoft goods like the Edge browser and the Windows operating system.

In other words, while Bing was present on Xbox, it mostly ran in the background. In 2020, Microsoft released Bing search software for Xbox that offers gamers some intriguing device combinations.

The release of a dedicated app enhanced the features already available and added more Bing functions to Xbox. Xbox users can search the web, see trending itemsand more from their game console using the Microsoft Bing app.

Anyway, currently and more recently, Bing has a fantastic feature. It looks like the partnership between Bing and Xbox is flourishing thanks to this truly amazing feature.

First spotted by Klobrillethere is now a very notable “To play” button that lets you immediately launch the game in your browser when you search for games on Bing and this game is also available through Xbox cloud gaming.

On Bing, when you search for a game currently available through Game Pass, a link to start playing it immediately on XCloud is provided.

Take a look at the screenshots below; the concept already sounds fantastic.

With this, as Infinite Halo is currently at its best, Bing is also making it more attractive by changing the search bar background to match the theme of the game. Honestly, it looks awesome.

Search background theme is also available for some other games like Sea of Thieves and Deathloop. The idea is generally very well received and appreciated by users. Check out some of the Twitter comments we collected.

Whereas Google Stadia announced its closure in January 2023, some users pointed out that the feature was already available on Stadia in Google Search. But since Stadia will shut down, the feature will no longer be useful.

As for xCloud, Microsoft’s cloud-based gaming service, developers are making strides to keep the business model sustainable. It is also available in several countries, such as Argentina, Germany, Hungary, Iran, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States.

However, using VPN services, players from unsupported countries managed to get through. You must have a GamePass Ultimate subscription to play xCloud.

Nevertheless, a VPN is required to access streaming services for games. Whether it’s a Windows 10 app, web app, or Android app. You will not be able to access it if your IP is not accepted.
