The PlayStation PS5 flies off the shelves as soon as it arrives, with Black Friday sales expected to increase demand. But some retailers have the console delivered

The much sought-after PlayStation PS5 is selling like hot cakes as Black Friday approaches, but gamers can still find it online.
The The PlayStation PS5 released in November 2020 , but in fact, buying one has been impossible for many buyers.
PS5 shortages are expected to peak as the UK nears the Black Friday shopping event next Friday .
But online retailer PlayStation Direct has PS5s in stock, which it will sell online starting this morning.
The website limits the PS5 to one console per person, and demand is so high that the consoles are unlikely to be in stock for long.
The PS5 shortage is due to high demand during the pandemic, a global shortage of microchip processors and even the Suez Canal being blocked by the A freighter never given earlier in the year.

It has proven so difficult to buy a PS5 that dedicated Twitter accounts exist to give updates on when stores might restock the console.
Retailer John Lewis is stocking the PS5 in time for Christmas, according to the PS5 Stock UK Twitter account.

How much does the PS5 cost and where can I buy it?
It’ll set you back around Â£ 449 for the full console, while a digital edition without a disc tray is priced at Â£ 359.
The PS5 has a 3.5GHz 8-core AMD Zen 2 processor, 16GB of GGDR6 RAM, and 825GB of internal storage.
It’s supposed to be 100 times faster than the previous PlayStation PS4, so games will load at super-fast speeds.
Buyers are advised to keep large retailer verification if they want to break one of the consoles.
Or avid fans can buy console online , provided they are not afraid to pay 50% more.
If you can’t wait for stores to restock the PS5, there’s one place you can always find it – eBay.
Earlier this month, an eBayer was selling the full console for Â£ 699.99, an increase of around 55%.
The digital console was also traded on the auction website for around Â£ 569.99, a 58% price increase.
Experts at the gaming giant have predicted another rise ahead of Christmas as the gift-buying windfall begins.
Growing demand will be compounded by the arrival of Black Friday sales events on November 26 and Cyber ââMonday on November 29.
If you want a console but don’t care about the PS5, the new Xbox series has seen supply shortages but nothing on the scale of its rival PlayStation.
The Xbox Series X (Â£ 449) and Xbox Series S (Â£ 249), also launched last November.
The S-Series is the digital sister of the more powerful X-Series.
